Welcome to Mumbai Mix
We're a mother-and-daughters family passionate about authentic Indian vegetarian recipes, cooking and sharing the food we love.
Mumbai Mix began with our family recipes, our Indian heritage, and our journey from Kenya to England. For several years, we ran our own street food stall, specialising in fresh dosa and authentic Indian vegetarian street food. Serving hundreds of customers taught us not only how to cook great food consistently, but also how to share the flavours, traditions and hospitality that have been passed down through our family for generations.
Now we're bringing everything we learned from our family kitchen and our street food stall into yours.
Here you'll find authentic Indian vegetarian recipes, step-by-step cooking guides and Indian cooking classes designed to help you cook with confidence, whether you're making your first dosa or perfecting family favourites.
As Mumbai Mix grows, we'll also be introducing carefully selected ingredients, kitchen equipment and healthy eating resources developed alongside our registered dietitian, making Mumbai Mix a place to learn, cook and share authentic Indian food for years to come.
Our cooking has even featured on BBC Saturday Kitchen, but what matters most to us is helping you create authentic Indian food that brings people together around the table.
